Antonio Brown is at the center of controversy, again. Rinse, repeat.
This time, though, the 34-year-old is not in the headlines as a player, or former player, but as an owner. Brown and his father purchased an ownership stake in a National Arena League football team, the Albany Empire, back at the beginning of March. His dad Eddie was a star offensive player for the Albany Firebirds in the 1990s so the team holds sentimental value.
However, less than two months after buying into the franchise, Brown is already in some hot water.

Shohei Ohtani is again in Babe Ruth’s company.
Shohei Ohtani continues to set records in the most outstanding of ways.
In the Los Angeles Angels 6-4 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday, Ohtani was once again incredible both on the mound as a starting pitcher and at the plate as the DH. He struck out 13 batters through five innings as a pitcher, then went 3-5 with an RBI as a hitter.
With those 13 strikeouts on Wednesday, Ohtani joined some very elite company.

Celtics make good on disappointing game 1 with blowout in game 2
Given the amount of turmoil circling Boston in the days after letting James Harden almost singlehandedly beat them, a Game 2 win salvaging what was left of early homecourt would be vital. Benefitting from what appeared to be important halftime adjustments, the Celtics ran away with Game 2, winning 121-87.

It’s a more stunning twist than when Burgess Meredith was all excited to read a bunch of books but then accidentally broke his glasses, or the time William Shatner got really obnoxious on an airplane because he thought he saw a gremlin on the wing.
The first to experience this bizarre phenomenon was Joe Pavelski of the Dallas Stars.

AEW wrestler Dr. Britt Baker was involved in controversy this week over a newly released T-shirt featuring her bruised face.
On the April 21 episode of Dynamite, Baker came to the defense of Adam Cole (her real-life boyfriend) as he was being beaten down by Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia. After confronting Jericho, Baker was attacked by The Outcasts (Saraya, Toni Storm and Ruby Soho). The attack left Baker with a black eye, which she showed off in an Instagram post two days later. AEW subsequently began selling a shirt featuring the photo Baker had posted, which proved to be controversial.
