The Lakers found another gem in Austin Reaves.
With all the star power that exists between the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies, it should come as no surprise that the phrase “I’m him” was emphatically shouted during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Game 1 showdown.
What should come as a surprise is who was responsible for that flamboyant celebration. No, not either of the Lakers’ future Hall of Famers, LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Not Memphis’ pair of All-Stars Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.

Welcome to the NHL playoffs, where anything and everything goes – including stealing your opponent’s stick.
During Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs, Boston Bruins newly acquired forward Tyler Bertuzzi straight up owned his Florida Panthers opponent.
As Bertuzzi was skating off to the bench, he and Florida’s Nick Cousins began mouthing off to each other. So what does Tyler do? He ends up stealing Cousins stick and bringing it to the bench and nearly snaps it in half!
Other than not being from the South Shore, Tyler Bertuzzi is a quintessential Bruin: pic.twitter.
The 2023 NFL draft is almost upon us, which excites both the real and fantasy fan bases across the globe. Maybe the most important position in terms of real football is, of course, quarterback. Based on many of the countless mock drafts we’re seeing across the world wide web, we could see as many as five signal-callers in Round 1 – Alabama’s Bryce Young, Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, Florida’s Anthony Richardson, Kentucky’s Will Levis and Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker.
Stolen bases in Major League Baseball are on the rise this year thanks to the new rules that are changing the way the game is played.
Cubs left fielder Ian Happ had a stolen base during Monday night’s game against the A’s and this thing could go down as the strangest swipe of the season. Not only did he steal the base, but he basically stole the fielder’s glove in the process.
Happ slid into second and appeared to be out, but then Tony Kemp’s glove got stripped away and the ump had to change his call.
For the first time in the Steph Curry era, the Warriors have fallen behind 2-0 in a series, and there is plenty of blame to go around for that.
Draymond Green sent the NBA world into a frenzy late on Monday evening when he was ejected from Game 2 of the Warriors first-round playoff series against the Kings for stomping on Sacramento star Domantas Sabonis.
Though some were quick to lay the blame fully on the Golden State forward, who has had his fair share of controversial dust-ups in the past, not everyone thought that Sabonis was faultless. Among those in the latter group: Shaquille O’Neal.
After Draymond Green was ejected for stomping on him in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s Game 2 in the first round of the playoffs, Kings big man Domantas Sabonis was asked about the incident.
“There’s no room for that in our game today,” he said.
Sabonis also said he was hit in the jaw earlier in the game. During the play with seven minutes left in regulation, Sabonis fell to the floor looking for a rebound and appeared to grab Green’s right ankle and the Warriors forward proceeded to stomp on Sabonis’s abdomen.
Riley Gaines ripped the Biden Administration for not doing anything to stop biological men from ruining women’s sports.
The Biden Administration has proposed a new Title IX rule that would ban schools from creating blanket bans against transgender athletes, according to Fox News. Any proposed blanket ban would violate the new Title IX standard, but there could be restrictions on a case-by-case basis at the high school and college level.
Lia Thomas, a biological male who decimated women in the pool, voiced support for the rule change but also argued it doesn’t go far enough.
This is not a ranking of the 23 best players in the draft. That’s too simple. These players have, what Terez Paylor would have called, “the goods.
