With Brady being from San Mateo, California, one of the rumored teams he was being linked with was the San Francisco 49ers.

The Toronto pitcher had an emphatic response to MLB Network analyst Anthony Recker over his workout regimen.
MLB analyst Anthony Recker criticized Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah for his level of conditioning, and the Toronto ace responded … emphatically.
On MLB Tonight on Wednesday, Recker said “Alek Manoah. I love you, Alek … just show me you’re willing to put a little more time in the gym and you’re gonna be there consistently for a bit longer. I still love you.”
Recker might love Manoah, but the feeling apparently isn’t mutual.

UNC coach Mack Brown isn’t going anywhere in the near future.
The Tar Heels are coming off a 9-5 season, and that was good enough for Brown to have an extra year tacked on to his deal. The program announced Thursday that Brown’s contract will now run through the 2028 season.
New financial information wasn’t released, but Brown earned a reported $5 million in base money in 2022. Given the fact UNC is, once again, gaining national attention, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a modest raise cooked in.

Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel is looking for a new offensive line coach after relieving Matt Applebaum of those duties after one season, a source told OutKick.
Interviews for the newly open position are already underway and one candidate who has already interviewed is Dan Roushar of the New Orleans Saints, another source said.
The Dolphins went through half-a-dozen tackles in 2022 and offensive coordinator Frank Smith was pulled into needing to help coach the line. McDaniel wants to hire someone who can do the job himself so that Smith can concentrate on his coordinator duties.
