Davey Todd is a doubt for the North West 200 after he broke his femur in a crash at Daytona in the USA.
Todd, 30, crashed in qualifying for the Daytona 200 on Thursday and had surgery on his injures.
It was a second accident of the session for the English rider, who was earlier collected by another rider.
Todd said the team had thought they had fixed his PHR Performance Triumph and he returned to the circuit but the “steering jammed” and he crashed into the wall.

Last season Braden Smith was not only named the Big Ten Player of the Year, a third straight honor for a Purdue player, he was also named First Team all-Big Ten. This year, for the sixth straight season, Purdue has a First Team honoree as Smith was named to the team earlier today.

The All-Big Ten Honors were announced on Tuesday afternoon, and as expected, the Michigan Wolverines had their fingerprints all over the nominations.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Vrabel told reporters that he’s looking to add “really talented players” in free agency.
