This has been reported on by a number of outlets, such as Mundo Deportivo and SPORT.
The Swede will now undergo tests to learn the extent of this knock. In the event of it being something like an ACL tear, he could be ruled out for a considerable amount – if not all – of the upcoming 2026/2027 season.

Borussia Dortmund don’t want to further fuel rumours about the potential signing of Cologne forward Said El Mala.
“The fact remains that Said is still a Cologne player,” Dortmund managing director of sports Lars Ricken said in an interview to broadcaster Sky on the sidelines of the friendly match against Arsenal on Sunday.
According to media reports, the two Bundesliga clubs are negotiating over the forward.

Portsmouth have completed the signing of Hull City winger Abu Kamara for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old renews links with John Mousinho and Pompey, having spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Fratton Park and helping the club win the League One title.
Kamara has signed a three-year-deal and is the seventh signing of the summer.

Report: Liverpool unlikely to take up £47m option on new signing
Araújo move offers immediate solution
Ronald Araújo was beginning his Liverpool medical on Sunday as the club moved closer to completing a loan deal for the Barcelona centre-back, according to The Times.
The agreement includes an option to sign Araújo permanently for £47m rather than an obligation, giving Liverpool flexibility beyond the coming season while addressing a much more immediate problem for Andoni Iraola.
Araújo, 27, has not been identified as a definitive long-term solution at centre-back.
