CAMDEN, N.J. — The Philadelphia 76ers are in the process of trying to come up with the right deal to bring back Quentin Grimes in restricted free agency. The Sixers are currently short-handed as they deal with the Jared McCain injury, and need to find a way to bring back Grimes.
One way to do so is to shed some salary and one name that has popped up in trade rumors for the Sixers is the reliable Kelly Oubre Jr. The versatile forward has a tradeable salary and his game is attractive for a lot of teams as he is reliable on the floor as well as being a good leader in the locker room.

Sunday figures to be a special day at the ballpark during what’s been a dark season for the Atlanta Braves so far. Charlie Morton will open things up for the Braves to begin Sunday’s season finale but they’ve still got a bit of work to do in order to make that happen. In the meantime, they’ve decided to do a bit of roster maneuvering involving two of their top young arms.
According to a report from David O’Brien of The Athletic, the Braves will be sending Hurston Waldrep back down to Triple-A and calling up Hayden Harris in response.

What is it with football signs in Ireland these days?
American football at both the college and professional level has started a mini-takeover of Dublin. In August, Iowa State and Kansas State kicked off the college season. To celebrate, a pub in Dublin tried its best to celebrate the moment with appropriate signage, but failed hilariously in an attempt to do so.
I say we give them points for trying.
The 2025 Ryder Cup has not gone according to plan for the United States team, as another disastrous morning session of Foursomes gave Europe a commanding 3-1 lead heading into the afternoon.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has once again played poorly in a match-play format, and as usual, the European team has relied on the power of deciding as a team to make miraculous chip-ins and using some of the worst players in professional golf this year to drain 45-foot putts.

Cincinnati Bengals great Geno Atkins is one of 128 modern-era candidates for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
As Bengals fans are actuely aware and will tell anyone, it was Atkins who wrote the script for “undersized” pass-rushing defensive tackles in the Aaron Donald mold.
Former Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer recently laid out that very case for Atkins’ Hall of Fame push.
“Talk about guys who not only changed the game, but changed the way the game is played,” Zimmer told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.
The Phoenix Suns have a long-term plan for Mark Williams.
Taking Williams’ battles with multiple injuries into account, the Suns are working more on his strength than anything else so far in training camp.
“We know Mark’s history and we’re trying to change it,” Suns coach Jordan Ott said. “We’re taking an approach. He’s been out here and has been good. This is Sept. 26. Definitely added some strength to him. You can see it when he walks in the building. He definitely has great size. Excited to see where he goes, but we still do have a couple more weeks.
