This ‘schmedium’ guard loves to play with a short fuse.
Orlando Magic guard Desmond Bane decided the best way to handle the New York Knicks on Sunday was to treat one player like a stationary target, delivering one of the most hilariously hostile moments of the season.
After a failed fastbreak, Bane used an out-of-bounds play to deliver his message, launching the ball like a laser beam directly at a stumbling OG Anunoby.
Anunoby hit the floor and bounced right back up, charging at Bane, though the throw, technically, was perfectly legal and oddly heady.

The Contemporary Baseball Eras Committee decided Sunday night to not send the Atlanta Braves legend to the Baseball Hall of Fame. He got only six of the required 12 votes.

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Carter Verhaeghe stayed red-hot with his sixth goal in his last six games, Seth Jones scored for the second consecutive game and the Florida Panthers closed a homestand by topping the New York Islanders 4-1 on Sunday.
Uvis Balinskis got a rare goal for the Panthers, who finished off a three-game, four-day stint with five points — going 2-0-1. Florida wrapped up a stretch where it played 11 out of 12 games at home, going 5-5-1 in those home contests.
Sam Reinhart added an empty-netter for Florida.
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Josh Allen threw for three touchdowns and ran for one, Christian Benford scored the go-ahead TD on a 63-yard interception return, and the Buffalo Bills rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 39-34 on Sunday.
Allen scored on a 40-yard rush, breaking his record of 36 for the longest by a Bills quarterback, and Buffalo flipped the game with big defensive plays on a snowy afternoon in western New York. Benford and defensive end A.J.
The Seattle Seahawks’ win in Week 14 put pressure on the Los Angeles Rams and put Seattle atop the NFC for a brief moment, and while it looked for a minute that the Rams would lose and Seattle would take over the one seed for longer, it did not last. The Rams went on a 35-0 run against the Cardinals and the Seahawks’ run as the one seed was only a couple hours long.
So the Rams remain in first place in the NFC, but after that, a major change happened when the Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears.
