The Minnesota Golden Gophers pulled off an upset over the No. 22 Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday night. The Gophers erased an eight-point first-half deficit to send the game into halftime tied and then pulled away in the second half for a 73-64 victory on their home court.
Of course, the win sent the Williams Arena crowd into a frenzy and fans rushed onto the court as soon as the clock hit zero.
The court-storming reignites the age-old debate (or just the one that passionately overtakes OutKick staff calls multiple times per year) about when storming the court is appropriate.

A group of Atlanta Hawks fans couldn’t resist on Wednesday night.
A section of fans sitting near the Los Angeles Clippers bench at State Farm Arena started heckling the team over their surprise decision to part with veteran Chris Paul just hours earlier.
“WHERE’S CHRIS PAUL?” 😬

The Tennessee Titans hit the practice field on Wednesday ahead of their Week 14 matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
The Titans desperately need a morale boost, and the only one that will work is the one that comes with a win. After keeping the score close against a tough Seattle Seahawks team, the Titans got blown out by a mediocre Jacksonville Jaguars team. There are plenty of reasons for that loss, and injuries are part of it. The Titans have suffered their fair share of injuries this season, and there are still plenty of people on that list.
A dismal first half proved to be too much for Louisville to overcome as the Cardinals fell 89-80 at No. 25 Arkansas Wednesday night.
U of L trailed by 18 points at halftime and by as many as 20 after the break as old nemesis John Calipari proved that he still seems to have the Cards’ number.
It was a combination of poor rebounding, poor outside shooting, poor defense, and a large free-throw disparity that doomed Louisville to its first loss. The Cards were out-rebounded by 10 and gave Arkansas a whopping 18 second chance opportunities.
As it turns out, the rough-and-tumble Steelers beat did indeed interrogate quarterback Aaron Rodgers thoroughly and aggressively regarding his surprising comments after Sunday’s loss to the Bills.
Well, not really. He was asked one question about it on Wednesday, with no follow up.
Here’s what happened, as best we can tell. The full Rodgers press conference — a copy of the raw footage we’ve obtained and reviewed — lasted more than 11 minutes.
Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown reflected on missing the past 10 weeks with a groin injury and the journey of his recovery.
“It’s definitely been probably the toughest stretch of my career mentally, just because of the back-to-back injuries, and where I felt I was coming into the season.”
Brown joined Washington prior to the start of the 2024 season and re-signed with the Commanders this past offseason.
