INDIANAPOLIS — The next step in Purdue men’s basketball’s championship quest involves trying to keep another championship streak alive.
The Boilermakers have won 10 straight games over the span of four Thanksgiving-adjacent tournaments. This week’s stint in the Baha Mar Championships in The Bahamas features games against Memphis on Thursday and either No. 15 Texas Tech or Wake Forest on Friday.
Each of the other three participants can potentially push Purdue in important and useful ways.

After having an extended two week break from the field, the Cowboys pace has been quickened considerably. Dallas traveled to Las Vegas for a Week 11 road win, and apparently the time spent in the desert was a good chance for some extracirriculars as well as a catharthis for an extremely emotional bye week.
Returning home on Tuesday, Dallas doesn’t have much time to get themselves ready for their most important test of the season, a home date with the 8-2 Philadelphia Eagles.

Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has said it is unrealistic to expect his forwards to post elite scoring numbers in a season focused first and foremost on survival.
Farke, a former forward himself, stressed the importance of physicality, hold-up play, counter-pressing and work-rate, especially when Leeds spend long spells without possession away from home.
The Whites’ top scorer in the Premier League this season is Joe Rodon, a centre-back, with two goals.
“You always have to adapt to reality,” Farke said on BBC Radio Leeds.
