The Tennessee Titans are an abject mess right now.
They’re 1-10 on the season and sit in the bottom third of the league in just about every statistical category imaginable right now.
Although they’ve made it close in the past few games, nothing seems to be going right when the chips are down for the Titans.
So why am I even wasting my breath talking about them?

As Ajay Mitchell drove to the basket, Rayan Rupert had to resort to a physical foul to prevent the layup. That sparked a little bit of a scuffle. While Mitchell was working on his free-throw form, his OKC teammates had a full head of steam. They confronted Portland over the foul that was eventually upgraded to a flagrant.
You can’t knock Mitchell off his groove. He finished with 20 points on 8-of-8 shooting, four assists and one rebound. He shot 2-of-2 from 3 and went 2-of-4 on free throws. He also had two steals.
The Cincinnati Bengals were reportedly in the running for one of the most notable free agents available in recent weeks.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the Bengals had an offer out for running back Dameon Pierce.
Pierce, recently let go by the Houston Texans, though, decided to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bengals getting in the mix for help at the running back spot isn’t all that shocking right now. Samaje Perine continues to work back from an ankle injury.
Charlotte Hornets rookie guard Kon Knueppel was nominated for the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week award, the league announced on Monday.
Knueppel averaged 26.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, three assists and one steal on 52.4% shooting from 3-point range in four games last week. He scored at least 20 points in each appearance, the longest such streak by a rookie this season.
The fourth pick was previously nominated for the award earlier this month for games played from Nov. 3-9. He is the only rookie to be considered for the award in either conference.
