One of the big takeaways from Sunday’s Wild Card Round meeting between the Eagles and the Packers had nothing to do with football and everything to do with AJ Brown being quite the bookworm.

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act” by a vote of 218-206. All Republicans voted “yea” and all but two Democrats voted “nay.”ย 
Rep. Greg Stuebe (R-Fla), the sponsor of the bill, and Rep. August Pfluger (R-Tex) sent a video exclusively to OutKick celebrating the massive win โ€“ not just for women’s sports, but for the American people.ย 
“Men have no place in women’s sports, and it’s crazy that we even have to pass a bill that says that,” Steube said.

The Storm have used their core designation on Gabby Williams. What does that mean?
The Seattle Storm have cored Gabby Williams, ESPNโ€™s Kevin Pelton reported on Tuesday. That means that the versatile wing will be offered a one-year contract at the WNBAโ€™s highest possible salary ($249,244) โ€” and that sheโ€™s unable to sign with another team as a free agent this offseason. Historically, however, some players have asked for trades after receiving the core designation, so the move does not necessarily mean that Williams will stay in Seattle.
