While many seem to agree that JJ Redick did a good job overall with the Los Angeles Lakers in his first year as an NBA head coach, the jury still seems to be out on him as far as whether he’s a good enough coach to guide them to a world championship.
He did make a costly mistake in Game 4 of the team’s first-round playoff series versus the Minnesota Timberwolves when he played just five men in the second half.

A month ago, Justin Rose entered the weekend at the 2025 Masters with the 36-hole lead. Unfortunately, his entrance to the weekend at the PGA Tour’s Truist Championship, a signature event, wasn’t as positive.
Rose was forced to withdraw from the event, citing an illness.
“After becoming progressively ill over the past few days, I have made the unfortunate decision to withdraw,” Rose said in a post on X. “I am not in a state to complete, and it’s best for me to focus on a quick recovery prior to next week.

After the Oklahoma City Thunder‘s rough Game 3 overtime loss to the Denver Nuggets on Friday, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could be seen walking off the court with a sly smile on his face. And knowing the competitive nature of the likely league MVP, you’d be forgiven for thinking that smile had something to do with him already mentally turning the page to Game 4 and preparing to bounce back from an ugly shooting night.
After hearing Gilgeous-Alexander’s explanation following the game, that’s only partly true. He said the smile actually came from Nuggets fans taunting him.

LONDON (AP) — Chelsea became the first team to complete an undefeated 22-game campaign in the Women’s Super League after beating Liverpool 1-0 thanks to a stoppage-time goal by Aggie Beever-Jones in the final round on Saturday.
Already crowned champion, Chelsea finished with 60 points — 12 more than second-place Arsenal — after 19 wins and three draws.
The league was expanded to 12 teams, with 22 games in the season, in 2019-20.

The Green Bay Packers will not be re-signing free agent tight end Tyler Davis before the 2025 season, according to reporting from Bill Huber of SI.com.
Davis, 28, has been with the Packers since 2021. Injuries wrecked his last two seasons before they even began. In 2023, Davis tore his ACL during a preseason game and missed the rest of the year. In 2024, he injured his shoulder in training camp and was placed on season-ending injured reserve. Davis hasn’t appeared in a regular season game since early January of 2023.
