The Aces have waived Crystal Bradford, the team announced Wednesday.
The Las Vegas Aces have waived 31-year-old forward Crystal Bradford, the team announced on Wednesday.
Bradford, who is in her third WNBA season, appeared in four games with the Aces, averaging 1 point and 1.3 rebounds in six minutes per game.

Bradford was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks in 2015 and appeared in 15 games that season.

We knew it was coming, and now a group of female athletes have filed an appeal of the recently approved house settlement, which they say violates the Title IX gender equity statute. 
The appeal was filed on Wednesday by the Hutchinson Black and Cook law firm, which is going after the backpay portion of the settlement. Miesha Tate, a former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, says she does not support transgender athletes – biological males – competing in women’s sports “in any form.” 
In an interview with eSports Insider, Tate delved deeply into the issue – a major issue in American sports right now – and laid out her position thoroughly and thoughtfully. She also made her thoughts crystal clear. 
“I do not support men, in any form, competing in female sports. I just don’t think that it’s fair. I don’t think that it’s right,” Tate said.

The Chicago Bears wrapped mandatory minicamp last week at Halas Hall, which marked the beginning of summer break for most players ahead of training camp next month.
There was plenty to unpack from the three-day minicamp (we’ve got Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 takeaways), where new head coach Ben Johnson made minicamp an extension of OTAs. The Bears had perfect attendance (although they were without some key players due to injury). But it was overall a production set of practices ahead of a final set of OTAs for young players and rookies before a six-week break ahead of training camp.

This year’s minicamp practice on Day 2 will look different than what it did a year ago. Last offseason, as Shane Steichen described on Tuesday, the Colts did a walkthrough on Day 2 as they ramped up. But this year will be a full-go practice.
