Another year, another fix in.
The endless debate over whether or not the NBA Draft Lottery is rigged has always been a logical vs. emotional affair — like all conspiracy theories tend to be. Logically speaking there’s no conceivable way it can rigged. Not only does that rely on an idea that everyone who oversees the lottery is somehow in on it and nobody leaked any information, but it also opens the league up to incredible litigation.

The NFL is good for America’s economy and proof of that was illustrated Tuesday morning when the league announced its International Games to five different countries – which will be buying into America’s sport and issuing no tariffs on the league.
Yes, we’re kidding about the tariffs.
Sort of.
It is true the American export of professional football won’t be subject to tariffs by Brazil, Ireland, England, Germany and Spain. Those countries will benefit from the games by having a bump to local economies as NFL fans descend on the game sites the days before the game.

Quail Hollow Club has been an annual stop on the PGA Tour since 2003, was the site of the 2017 PGA Championship, and played host to the 2022 Presidents Cup. In other words, the golf world is very familiar with the North Carolina track, and as it gets set to host this week’s PGA Championship, it feels as if we’ve run out of unique ways to describe the place.
That logic doesn’t apply to six-time PGA Tour winner Hunter Mahan, however, as he somehow managed to think up one of the greatest comparisons ever delivered while describing a golf course.

News that the Texans were bringing back defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi emerged last week. But now, Fatukasi has put pen to paper.
Houston formally announced on Tuesday that the club had signed Fatukasi. He started 11 games for the team last season.
As a corresponding move, the Texans waived cornerback Gregory Junior.

Junior has appeared in 10 career games, all with Jacksonville. He’s also spent time with the Colts.

Normally, I’d look at the talk on sports TV and laugh at this one.
BUT! We are talking about the Dallas Mavericks, a franchise with a general manager who just made one of the worst trades involving Luka Doncic. Nothing is so outlandish now.
Which brings us to what fans and talking heads are wondering: would Nico Harrison really trade the No. 1 pick that he just got in the 2025 NBA Draft … for Giannis Antetokounmpo?

The NFL announced on Tuesday that the Los Angeles Rams will be the road team against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this year. It’s a Week 7 matchup at Wembley Stadium with an early 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff – by no means a normal start time for a West Coast team like the Rams.
This will be the third time the Rams head to London since Sean McVay became the head coach in 2017, and the league gave L.A. a schedule perk in each of the previous two instances to make the international trip easier.
