Nick Dunlap, who won The American Express as an amateur, put a solid round together at the Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Since turning professional after his historic victory at The American Express, Nick Dunlap has struggled on the PGA Tour.
In his five events since, Dunlap has missed two cuts, finished dead last at Pebble Beach, and failed to contend at both the Cognizant Classic and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

ALBANY, NY – The No. 3 LSU women’s basketball team took the court at 1 p.m. Eastern time to battle the No. 2 UCLA Bruins in the Sweet 16. The contest tipped off in Albany, NY about 2.5 hours after the Washington Post dropped a much-anticipated article about Tigers head coach Kim Mulkey.
Even before the game, in the media room, press members whispered to each other, “The Mulkey story dropped.
Rhys Hoskins is kicking off his first season not in a Philadelphia Phillies uniform and boy, oh boy, has it been eventful.
Hoskins and his new Milwaukee Brewers teammates opened their season in New York against the Mets on Friday instead of Thursday thanks to rain.
Obviously, given that he spent 6 seasons with the Phillies, Hoskins wasn’t the most popular guy at Citi Field, but he didn’t do himself any favors on the popularity front with a hard slide into Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil to break up a double play.
You might know Todd Angilly as the guy who sings the national anthem before Boston Bruins games at the TD Garden.
Pretty soon, you could see him in public office.
Angilly announced last month that he opened a campaign to run for the Essex County clerk of courts. The Lynnfield, MA native is running as an “an independent candidate,” and will run against the incumbent clerk, Thomas Driscoll, Jr. Angilly’s presence marks the first time that Driscoll, Jr. has faced opposition for his seat since he beat six Democrats in a 2000 primary.

The Gamecocks came together throughout the season on and off the court to make it to the Elite Eight
ALBANY — With under a minute left in a two-point game on Friday night — with an Elite Eight berth on the line — Indiana had suddenly pushed undefeated No. 1 South Carolina to the brink in the fourth quarter to overcome a 17-point halftime deficit. But South Carolina’s head coach Dawn Staley had one thing on her mind: Raven Johnson.
She’d seen the look in Johnson’s eyes in those last few minutes as the lead shrunk.
The NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series are all in Richmond this weekend for some short-track racing, however, there was a bit of a goof with an on-track graphic.
Of course, there are a lot of graphics on and around a NASCAR track, so you can understand that there may be an occasional typo. We’re only human.
However, spelling “NASCAR” wrong in an Xfinity Series graphic was not something most of us would have seen coming.
Hell, yeah; I love NRSCAR!
Now, before we typo-shame people, let’s remember that spelling is hard.
Major League Baseball’s new uniforms continue to make news for all the wrong reasons.
With the entire league having made their season debuts, many casual fans who perhaps weren’t following the headache that MLB, Fanatics and Nike have been dealing with in recent months, finally saw what the fuss was all about.
The new MLB jerseys are just not good.
Among the complaints that have been expressed include that the lettering on the jerseys looks ridiculously small while the quality of the overall uniform comes across as cheap.
Shohei Ohtani has helped the Los Angeles Dodgers jump out to a 3-1 record to start 2024, but for many fans, he has plenty of questions left to answer.
Ohtani earlier this week addressed some of those questions in a statement claiming that Ippei Mizuhara, his former interpreter, had effectively stolen money from him to pay off allegedly illegal sports gambling debts. That didn’t assuage all remaining doubts however, with fans and commentators wondering how the interpreter would have access to his accounts.
The Washington Post published a profile of LSU coach Kim Mulkey on Saturday that paints the picture of a driven, loyal and complex woman who has alienated some family members and former players over the course of her career.
Lauren Betts and the Bruins are looking to knock off Angel Reese and the defending champion Tigers in the Sweet 16. Get all the updates.
