Despite being the most famous soccer player in the world, Lionel Messi is never too busy to make a fan’s day — even while driving.
The Inter Miami star was sitting in traffic recently when a fan pulled up next to him. Recognizing Messi, the fan asked for an autograph. He just happened to have the legend’s Argentina National Team jersey with him.
What are the odds?

Aryna Sabalenka cruised to an Australian Open victory on Saturday, defeating Qinwen Zheng (6–3, 6–2) to successfully defend her title.
Sabalenka won her first Grand Slam tournament last year in Melbourne and entered this year’s tournament ranked No. 2 in the world. Zheng, meanwhile, was competing in her first Grand Slam final, only making it as far as the quarterfinals in any of her previous major performances.

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has carefully created a meticulous plan at the free-throw line, an area of his game that he was much maligned for earlier in his career.
Part of Antetokounmpo’s plan is, unfortunately, to take his sweet time at the charity stripe, where players are only afforded 10 seconds to attempt the free throw once they have received the ball, according to the NBA’s official rule book.

Who says no to Lamar Jackson vs. Dantallica?
With only four teams remaining in the quest for Super Bowl LVIII, there are just four possible matchups left in play.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending champs, while the San Francisco 49ers are the betting favorites to win it all, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, and that has been the case for most of the 2023 NFL season.
However, we’re going to make the case for why Baltimore Ravens vs. Detroit Lions is the best possible matchup for this year’s Super Bowl.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić put on a show on Friday night, totaling 73 points in a 148–143 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. It was such a brilliant performance that his teammates were trying to latch onto Dončić’s scoring ability on the night.
After the game, Grant Williams posted a picture of him and Dončić in the locker room, saying the two combined to score 82 points in the win. Williams scored just nine points in the game, a modest performance as Dončić stole the spotlight. But he was technically correct, nonetheless.

Three-time PGA Tour winner Anthony Kim is eyeing a return to professional golf.
Kim, the sixth-ranked player in the world during the 2008 Ryder Cup, will not join LIV Golf but instead hopes to make a comeback to the PGA Tour.
The news of Kim’s return—originally reported on by Golf.com—created quite the buzz among golf fans and fellow players alike during this week’s Farmers Insurance Open.

Kobe Bryant would have been proud of Luka Doncic.
Doncic channeled his inner Bryant in the Dallas Mavericks‘ 148–143 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night, as he exploded for a career-high 73 points. That tied for the fourth-highest scoring output in NBA history, just days after Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid poured in 70 points.
Not only was Doncic’s effort incredible, but it also occurred on the four-year anniversary of Bryant’s tragic death, something that was not lost on the Mavericks star.
