Watch as Tillman doubles USA lead after Balogun sent off

Folarin Balogun was given a controversial red card after a VAR review in USA’s World Cup match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
US striker Balogun, who scored his side’s opener in the first-half, looked in a state of shock after receiving a red midway through the second-half.
Balogun was tussling for the ball with Tarik Muharemovic before the pair’s legs tangled. Replays showed Balogun’s leg scraping down the calf of the Bosnian defender.

The United States has scored!
Folarin Balogun notched the goal in the 45th minute for the USMNT in their World Cupround of 32 matchup against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, July 1 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. He then broke out in a tribute to NBA legend LeBron James for his celebration.

How did ESPN view the Houston Texans‘ offseason moves that included fixing the run game and offensive line?
Overall, underwhelming.
Fresh off a 12-win season, the Texans should be the favorites to win the AFC South. Houston added several key pieces to the offensive line, including All-Pro Wyatt Teller from Cleveland and Georgia Tech’s Keylan Ruteldge. It also bolstered its ground game with the addition of Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery. It shored up the interior of the defensive line with the addition of Kayden McDonald from Ohio State in the second round.

The Philadelphia Phillies matched up with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night, with the teams splitting the first two games of the four-game series heading into Game 3.
Philadelphia started Zach Wheeler, while Pittsburgh countered with its ace, Paul Skenes. The Pirates starter had been having a roller coaster year, entering with a 6-7 record and a 3.10 ERA. Still, he came into the game with 114 strikeouts, the ninth-most in the league.
Skenes’ season of woes continued on Wednesday as he had the worst outing of his short career, at least when it comes to earned runs allowed.

The Boston Celtics have reportedly traded star Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Paul George and a pair of first-round draft picks (Maddie Meyer)
The Boston Celtics will send star forward Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for veteran Paul George in a blockbuster NBA trade, ESPN reported Wednesday.
Boston will also receive two first-round draft picks and two second-round picks in the deal.
The news emerged on the first full day of the NBA’s free agency negotiating period.

FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Jason Robertson remained an unsigned restricted free agent Wednesday, days after the Dallas Stars had a deal in place to trade their high-scoring homegrown forward that they still hope to keep.
General manager Jim Nill said on the first day of NHL free agency that the goal still was to sign Robertson, and that he remained in contact with the forward’s representatives.
“Really no update on Jason,” Nill said. “I think everybody needs to understand that this is July 1. The games don’t start until September, and this is part of the contract negotiations.
