A video released by the Scottsdale Police Department on Thursday showed former NHL player and Arizona Coyote Alex Galchenyuk’s July 9 arrest, showing a deranged Galchenyuk shouting the N-word from the back seat of a cop car and shouting threats at the officers and their families.
The bodycam footage showed Galchenyuk screaming with wounds visible on his right cheek. As reported on OutKick, details of the 29-year-old’s arrest noted the ex-Coyotes’ shocking vulgarities shouted at the officers during his arrest.

The Bucks didn’t have Damian Lillard available for Thursday’s clash against the Pacers, leaving Giannis Antetokounmpo to shoulder more of the burden offensively. Despite a huge night, Antetokounmpo ended up on the wrong side of NBA history as Milwaukee lost, 126-124.
Antetokounmpo was on fire out of the gate, racking up 40 points midway through the third quarter after having logged just 22 minutes on the floor. At that point in the game, he was responsible for more than half of Milwaukee’s 79 points.

The USC Trojans are in need of a defensive coordinator after firing Alex Grinch this week, and the replacement rumor mill is already flying.
USC has a brutal 2024 schedule in their first season in the Big Ten and hasn’t had the kind of recruiting success they’ve become accustomed to. After essentially wasting the collegiate career of Caleb Williams and with a tougher conference schedule looming, it’s imperative that head coach Lincoln Riley nail the defensive coordinator hire.

The Virginia Cavaliers football team hasn’t had a great year by any means.
On Thursday night during Virginia’s game vs. No. 11 Louisville, the Cavaliers mascot reacted to a play that perfectly summed up the team’s season thus far.
In the second quarter, Virginia’s punter Daniel Sparks was gearing up in the end zone to punt the ball away for the third time (with two Virginia fumbles in between). However, the punt was blocked by Louisville’s D’Angelo Hutchinson.

Al Michaels has had a tough year.
Calling games on Thursday night for Amazon Prime alongside Kirk Herbstreit, Michaels has not seen the best that the NFL world has to offer.
This Thursday, Michaels was in for another long night, with the Bears hosting the Panthers in Chicago. The teams entered the prime-time showdown a combined 3–14.
Before kickoff, fans were already commiserating with Michaels.

Al Michaels is going to have to sell two 1989 Mazda 323s tonight with 340,000 miles between them.
Good luck, sir.

The Bears showed up wearing their orange uniforms and helmets to their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Panthers, and fans expressed some mixed reviews to the look.
This is the second time the Bears are sporting the bright orange uniform this season. They wore them during Week 2’s 27–17 loss to the Buccaneers. The orange helmet debuted last season, and fans didn’t really seem to like the combo of the helmet and jersey with white pants.
The uniforms were on national display on Thursday night, opening the reaction up to more than just Bears fans.

Eagles star Jason Kelce made an appearance on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Kickoff ahead of the prime-time clash between the Bears and Panthers, when the topic of his recent nomination for PEOPLE’s “Sexiest Man Alive” award was broached.
Host Charissa Thompson introduced Kelce, joking that she expected him to flake on the interview after being named one of the sexiest men alive.
The 36-year-old joked that it was about time he’d earned recognition for his handsomeness.
“Listen, I don’t know how this all happened, but it’s honestly just another day.

It could be an offseason of significant changes for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Despite winning 92 games in 2023 and taking home another National League Central title, the Brewers could potentially be on the road to a sweeping overhaul. First, now-former manager Craig Counsell departed for the Chicago Cubs and a massive pay day.
