The Golden State Warriors got a 141-139 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night, but not without a fair amount of controversy. Not surprisingly, much of that controversy involved Draymond Green.
In the closing seconds, Golden State guard Steph Curry attempted a floating layup over Thunder forward Chet Holmgren. The ball went it, but it initially was called offensive goaltending because Green made contact with the rim.
After review, the offensive goaltending was overturned — counting Curry’s basket and giving the Warriors a 2-point lead with 0.2 seconds left.

The Chiefs and Dolphins game on Sunday morning in Germany was expected to be an epic shootout. Not only because both squads are the powerhouses of the AFC, but there’s an added level of contention given the fact that Tyreek Hill is having a career year.
The former Kansas City star left Patrick Mahomes and their legendary offense via trade for Miami after not coming to terms on a new contract, and he has thrived ever since joining the team in 2022. But things got off to a rocky start overseas and Hill made a massive blunder that led to an amazing play from the Chiefs defense.

Prior to the Dolphins vs. Chiefs matchup in Frankfurt, Germany, it was revealed on the broadcast that multiple punts hit the scoreboard during pregame warmups. And just prior to halftime of the game, a Miami punt did just that, which led to commentators Rich Eisen and Dan Orlovsky having some fun with it.
In the end, though, it was surprisingly Pat McAfee who wound up taking a bit of a stray from Orlovsky over the punt, as the analyst took a light-hearted jab at his now-ESPN colleague.

Can Mercedes or Ferrari take a step forward in their fight for second?
The final race of the triple-header gets rolling on Sunday, as Formula 1 is in Brazil for the São Paulo Grand Prix.
And there are many storylines to monitor ahead of this race.

NFL fans couldn’t wait to see the reunion between former Chiefs receiver/current Dolphins star Tyreek Hill and Kansas City duo Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes in Germany on Sunday.
However, the reunion ended up being pretty underwhelming.
Hill briefly went to the Chiefs sideline to show some love to his former coach, and the NFL’s leading receiver couldn’t help but give Reid’s belly a few pokes after approaching him. The two then hugged and patted each other, but it’s hard to tell what was said between them.

With the James Harden trade drama swirling around the 76ers as the 2023-24 NBA season got underway, there was obvious concern looming on the team’s outlook. Philadelphia was without one of its best players from last season and hadn’t acquired any talent yet in exchange for Harden.
But through the first five games of the season, four of which included Harden on the roster, the 76ers are off to a 4-1 start and made some impressive history in the process.

Peyton Manning is one of the best athletes to ever live, but he’s no impressionist. That much became clear when he announced Arnold Schwarzenegger as the next guest on the ManningCast during a skit where he did his best impression of the iconic actor. Schwarzenegger was not impressed.
The skit features Manning on a phone call as he tries to pitch an intro for his mysterious guest that involves him showing up to Eli Manning’s basement kneeling and naked—a nod to the classic film The Terminator where Schwarzenegger first broke into the industry for his portrayal of a killer robot.

The Kansas City defense is putting on a show in Frankfurt
Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season kicked off in fashion, with the first-ever regular season game in Frankfurt, Germany between two of the AFC’s best teams.
But in the early going between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, it has been all Kansas City.
Late in the first half the Chiefs held a 14-0 lead, but the Dolphins and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa were on the move. Miami faced a 2nd and 6 at the Chiefs’ 30-yard-line, with under a minute remaining in the first half.

The Lakers fell to 3–3 after Saturday night’s 120–101 loss to the Magic, a game that qualified as part of the NBA’s in-season tournament.
When speaking to the media after the game, Los Angeles star LeBron James offered an interesting comparison about how the Lakers are performing right now. His well-known interest in the NFL helped him realize that the Lakers look like the Steelers right now, in his opinion.
“We’re like the Pittsburgh Steelers right now, you know what that means?” James said.
