During Thursday’s press conferences ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix, drivers opined on traffic problems and potential solutions
Formula 1 drivers have a lot to worry about during qualifying. They have to worry about the weather conditions, tyre wear, whether the setup is right on the car, and of course, making sure they are as fast as possible during each session.
However, there is another concern they have to endure, something that almost everyone reading this can identify with.

Pressure seems to be mounting on Formula 1 rookie Nyck de Vries. But ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix the rookie driver received an unexpected vote of confidence.
From none other than Max Verstappen.
Earlier this season Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko admitted to giving De Vries the “yellow card,” warning him about his slow start to the season and making it clear that the AlphaTauri rookie needed to improve his performance.

On any given race weekend, that is certainly a tough question to ponder. It might even be tougher to ponder at this week’s Austrian Grand Prix, given that it is held at Red Bull Ring, the home race for Red Bull.

Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark would like to keep the conference at 14 teams.
The Big 12 will have 14 teams for the upcoming season, but will then drop to 12 when Texas and Oklahoma join the SEC in 2024.
However, it’s not a secret at all the conference is knee-deep in realignment chaos. There have been rumors swirling for months that the Big 12 is trying to target PAC-12 teams and some G5 programs if that fails. Now, the conference’s commissioner has revealed he’d like to stay at 14 teams moving forward, but is flexible.

The clock is now ticking for wokesters to demand an apology from St. Louis Cardinals legend Jim Edmonds for “insensitively” bringing up the Cleveland Indians and Washington Redskins.
During Thursday night’s game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Astros, Edmonds — color commentator for the Cards — was discussing the topic of renaming professional teams with broadcaster Chip Caray.

Patriots veteran defensive back Jonathan Jones took to Twitter Thursday to voice his opinion on the NFL’s recent suspensions of several players for violating the league’s gambling policy
Colts players Isaiah Rodgers and Rashod Berry, as well as free agent Demetrius Taylor were suspended indefinitely Thursday for placing bets on NFL games from the 2022 season.
It was also reported on Thursday that Rodgers made a $1,000 prop bet on the over/under on rushing yards by a Colts running back—his teammate—which won.

Warriors star Draymond Green may not have been playing in Thursday night’s edition of The Match, but he made sure to provide some of the trash talking from the sidelines.
Green followed his Warriors teammates Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as they competed against Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
