There were several season-ending injuries suffered in Week 7, unfortunately, including those Tampa Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin, out for the year with an ankle injury, and San Francisco 49ers Brandon Aiyuk, out for the year with a knee injury.

In the latest NFL trade involving a wide receiver, the Chiefs are finalizing a deal to acquire veteran DeAndre Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans. The move comes almost two weeks ahead of the NFL trade deadline and is the third wide receiver move made this season, after Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets, and Amari Cooper went to the Buffalo Bills.

Welcome to Week 8 of the NFL season. With so many wide receiver injuries and defenses built to stop the passing game, running backs have had a strong first half of the season. This week we saw two of the best, Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry, go off, but catching passes in PPR does help, as well as scoring multiple touchdowns, which is what Jammer Gibbs and Rachaad White did to be RB1 and RB2 in fantasy in Week 7.

The Crimson Tide are sitting at 5-2 after losses to Vanderbilt and Tennessee. Next up is a game this weekend against Missouri, and to say fans aren’t happy would be a massive understatement.
