Cincinnati chili has made its way to New York City, but with a twist.
Baseball fans had the opportunity to try a unique version of Cincinnati chili during the Reds-Mets series at Citi Field: the Skyline Chili egg roll.
According to the MLB website, the Skyline Chili egg roll was part of the ballpark’s season-long “Wok ‘N’ Roll’s Cities to Citi Field” promotion, which highlights “famous fare” from different U.S. cities corresponding with the teams that are in town to play the Mets.

CONCORD — Eight Seacoast high school football players were among 38 seniors honored at the 39th annual Joe Yukica Scholar/Athlete Awards ceremony May 27.
Exeter’s Will Tobin, Owen Wagner and Garrett White, Winnacunnet’s Anthony Magri and Sullivan Duffy, Dover’s Connor Lazarz and St. Thomas Aquinas’ Cole Masiello were all recognized before a capacity crowd at the Grappone Conference Center.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Throughout the NCAA Softball Tournament, Mississippi State’s use of broccoli has been limited to the players in the dugout.
However, that will change at the Women’s College World Series. Although outside food is on the list of prohibited items at Devon Park, the NCAA is making an exception for fans bringing in broccoli.
Donny Faircloth, the grandfather of MSU pitcher Alyssa Faircloth was one of the first fans to discover this, bringing in a bag of florets for the Bulldogs’ (43-19) opening matchup vs. Texas Tech (57-7) on May 28 (11 a.m. CT, ESPN).

Glamorgan paceman Fazalhaq Farooqi will miss the remainder of their T20 Blast campaign after being recalled by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).
The 25-year-old signed in March and played in the opening two games of this season’s competition.
Farooqi claimed four wickets in the defeat against Northamptonshire Steelbacks and took a further two wickets in the loss to Gloucestershire.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will face off against France’s Elsa Jacquemot at the French Open today in the second round of the women’s singles competition. Sabalenka defeated Spanish star Jessica Bouzas Maneiro on Tuesday in the first round in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. The tennis star is making a play for her first-ever French Open title this year (she has previously won the Australian Open and U.S. Open women’s titles).
Thursday’s 2026 French Open match between Sabalenka and Jacquemot will air on TNT and truTV, with all the action at Roland-Garros streaming on HBO Max.

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh has spoken out about his quarterback, Justin Herbert, missing practice to support his girlfriend, Madison Beer, on her live music tour.
The second phase of the Los Angeles Chargers’ 2026 offseason program ran for three weeks this month and concluded May 22. Herbert, 28, skipped the last two weeks of the voluntary team workouts to attend the start of his girlfriend’s Locket Tour, which opened in Kraków, Poland, on May 11.
However, Herbert’s coach had no issue with his absence.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert returned to the team after skipping Phase 2 of its voluntary OTA workouts to support his girlfriend, singer Madison Beer, for the start of her “Locket Tour.”
While Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh is “so excited” to have Herbert back, the 62-year-old coach also acknowledged he was “happy” to see Herbert take time to join Beer for the start of her tour in Poland.
