Colorado football landed two class of 2027 commitments Sunday afternoon, with one coming from four-star offensive tackle Li’Marcus Jones and the other from cornerback Prince Washington.
Washington becomes the eighth commitment in the Buffaloes 2027 class and the fifth in the past week. The Houston native becomes the fourth defensive back in the class and the fifth defensive player.
Ten schools had offers out to Washington, with the finalists being Colorado, Houston and North Texas. Deion Sanders and the Buffs beat out the in-state programs for Washington’s commitment.

Ascoli swept Catania aside at the Del Duca and put one foot firmly in the playoff final. NBA insider Marc Stein revealed Monday that three teams are said to have “legitimate interest” in trading for Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, one of those being the Houston Rockets. Brown was just named to the All-NBA Second Team Sunday night after posting 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists and one steal.
With Jayson Tatum sidelined for the majority of the year, Brown took off, leading Boston to the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and finishing sixth in MVP voting.

Humble (Texas) Summer Creek four-star wide receiver Benny Easter Jr. has been committed to Texas Tech since Nov. 20 but he continues to give other programs a look ahead of his senior season.
Ohio State has remained in the picture for the 6-foot, 200-pounder and he was in Columbus last month for a spring visit. It won’t be his last trip to the Buckeye State, either.

Jacob Misiorowski is on the bump for the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday and is pitching against the St. Louis Cardinals.
It didn’t take long for the starting pitcher to continue to set new records on the mound. In the first inning, Misiorowski struck out catcher Ivan Herrera on a 103 mph fastball.

The pitch was officially clocked at 103.4 mph, which is a new record for the fastest strikeout pitch by a starting pitcher since pitch tracking began in 2008.

Kimi Antonelli has officially earned the respect of the Formula 1 grid. The 19-year-old Mercedes prodigy is currently dominating the 2026 season, recently securing his fourth consecutive victory at the Canadian Grand Prix. But if anyone expects the veteran champions to help the rookie navigate his first title fight, they are going to be very disappointed.
