Evidently, Domi played those games despite an injury that required surgery. Unfortunately, that procedure could cost the 31-year-old forward time next season.

On Monday, May 25, the Maple Leafs announced Domi experienced complications from surgery and will be out indefinitely.
“Domi will continue working with the club’s medical staff and will be re-evaluated at the start of training camp,” the team announced on X.
