Veterans in the league usually bring about three options after the NBA Playoffs: entering free agency, running it back, and retirement. These are cards that are currently laid out in front of Mike Conley. Coach Chris Finch and the Minnesota Timberwolves led by Anthony Edwards already stated that they want him back.

Aaron Rai entered the final day at Newtown Square looking for his first PGA Championship victory. And late in the afternoon, Rai put himself in a good position to hoist the Wanamaker Trophy and will hopefully have his wife Gaurika Bishnoi with him to celebrate should he stay atop the leaderboard.
Rai, a 31-year-old golfer from Wombourne, England, married Bishnoi in July 2025 in London, according to reports. Bishnoi is a professional golfer herself and has been one of India’s top women’s golfers over the last 10 years, with eight wins in India’s Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour.

Purdue entered the weekend right on the border of the NCAA Tournament and had a chance to claim a spot with a successful weekend against Iowa.
Things did not go according to plan.
The pitching staff was shelled by the Hawkeyes as Iowa swept Purdue 10-7, 14-5, and 15-9. Purdue’s RPI slid from 47 to 54, likely knocking them from the NCAA Tournament field barring a big run in this coming week’s Big Ten Tournament. What’s more frustrating is that this was closer than it looks. Purdue led game 1 6-1 before falling apart and giving up five runs in the 5th inning.

With the Seattle Mariners struggling with injuries and on the verge of getting swept by the San Diego Padres, the team is bringing up some young talent to try and fill in the gaps.
The Mariners announced Sunday that they are calling up top prospect Colt Emerson, who will make his major league debut against the Padres on Sunday. Emerson, a 20-year-old shortstop, is the No. 6-ranked prospect in MLB.
The move comes two months after the Mariners signed Emerson to a record-breaking contract in March.

That was not the case.
