⚠️Alarm at Barça: Flick rested Lamine, Pedri has a niggle
FC Barcelona are up against it after losing 0-2 to Atlético de Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Goals from Sørloth and Julián Álvarez silenced a Camp Nou crowd that watched their team, despite dominating possession even with ten men, fail to break down the red-and-white wall.

Concern over Pedri and praise for the team
Hansi Flick explained Pedri’s substitution at half-time as being due to “some discomfort,” saying he preferred not to take any risks.

A former leader of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is once again stepping up, this time off the field. As highlighted in TMZ’s report, retired linebacker Lavonte David publicly supported his former quarterback, reinforcing the loyalty that defined his time in Tampa Bay.
David wasn’t known for being overly vocal during his career, which makes moments like this carry more weight. When he speaks, it usually comes from a place of respect and experience, especially when it comes to teammates he went to battle with. His message wasn’t about headlines; it was about backing someone he believes in.

Tommy Fleetwood, ever the fan-favorite, was strolling through the Par 3 Contest with his beautiful family. His son, young Frankie Fleetwood, gave it another go to close out their time before the official tournament begins, and he certainly tried his hardest.

Bayern set for mega record against St. Pauli
When FC Bayern take on FC St. Pauli this Saturday (18:30 CEST) on Bundesliga Matchday 29, they’ll be on the verge of a very special record. With 100 goals scored, Vincent Kompany’s side boast by far the best attack in the German top flight this season. One more goal would equal the all-time season record of 101 goals set by Bayern themselves in the 1971/72 campaign.
The chances of the Munich men cracking that record already on Matchday 29 against St. Pauli are pretty good.

The Southeastern Conference has set the appearance schedule for the 2026 SEC Football Media Days. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian is set to be the grand finale. Sark will be the final coach to speak to the media in Tampa.
The kickoff even will take place at the Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott on July 20-23 in Tampa, Florida. This is the first time SEC Media Days has been in Florida. Surprisingly, Texas hosted the event before Florida.  Dallas, Nashville and Atlanta have served as hosts the previous three years.
