Rueben Bain Jr., a top-10 prospect in the upcoming NFL Draft, was driving in a previously unreported March 2024 crash in which one of his passengers was hospitalized and pronounced dead three months later, according to a crash report and court records obtained by OutKick. 
The standout Miami edge rusher was cited at the scene by the Florida Highway Patrol for operating a motor vehicle in a “careless or negligent manner.” The charge was later dismissed because of a “defective citation,” after Bain Jr. entered a not guilty plea, according to court records.

Florida State landed one of the top linebackers in the 2026 class when blue-chip prospect Izayia Williams signed. Although he wasn’t quite as sought-after, three-star Karon Maycock was a big target for FSU, as they’ve held a commitment from him since February of 2025.
Injuries during spring practice have presented an opportunity for Maycock to get a head start on learning what defensive coordinator Tony White wants in his 3-3-5 scheme. According to Noles247’s Zach Blostein, he’s shining daily.

One of the coolest parts of Bayern Munich’s 5-0 victory over St. Pauli was seeing yet another youngster make his debut with the senior team. In this case, it was midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, who only joined the squad in the winter.
Ndiaye only played 12 minutes, but made a big impression on the coaching staff.

Drew Allar was once billed as a one of a kind quarterback prospect and the top ranked college recruit in the 2022 class. Penn State did little to develop him and surround him with sufficient talent.
Now as we sit less than two weeks out from the 2026 NFL Draft, Allar is still mostly a mystery.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore Orioles first baseman Ryan Mountcastle has a broken fourth metatarsal bone in his left foot and will go on the injured list.
“It’s tough,” manager Craig Albernaz said after Baltimore’s 6-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Sunday. Albernaz did not offer a timetable for Mountcastle’s return.
Mountcastle left Saturday’s game with left foot pain after stumbling running from first base to second on a double. The 29-year-old is hitting .286 with an RBI in eight games this season.

DETROIT (AP) — Tarik Skubal outpitched Sandy Alcántara in a matchup of Cy Young Award winners, Dillon Dingler, Kevin McGonigle and Kerry Carpenter homered and the Detroit Tigers earned a three-game sweep with an 8-2 win over the Miami Marlins on Sunday.
Detroit has bounced back from a stretch of losing nine of 11 with its three-game winning streak.
Skubal retired the first nine batters he faced and the two-time reigning AL Cy Young winner had a no-hit bid broken up by Austin Slater’s bloop single with two outs in the sixth.

After coach’s rollicking, Endrick comes off bench to seal Lyon win
Endrick responded on the pitch after being publicly criticized by his own coach, the Portuguese Paulo Fonseca.
The Brazilian started this Sunday’s (12) match on the bench, came on at halftime, and needed little time to play a decisive role in Lyon’s win.
He was involved in both of the team’s goals, helping to end a run of nine matches without a victory.
Less than four minutes after stepping onto the pitch, Endrick provided the assist for the opening goal, scored with a header by Roman Yaremchuk.
