The brackets for the NSCIF Divisions IV-VI baseball playoffs were released on Wednesday, May 13.
Durham earned the No. 1 seed in the Division IV bracket after a stellar 26-1 season. The Trojans sole loss of the season came against Las Plumas, the No. 4 seed in the Division II bracket. Redding-area teams U-Prep and Central Valley earned the No. 4 and 5 seeds, respectively, and will face off in the first round.
Los Molinos, Hamilton and Biggs took the Nos. 1-3 spots in Division V followed by Etna and Mt. Shasta at No. 4 and 5. Mt. Shasta enters the playoffs on a five-game winning streak.

The Alabama high school baseball postseason is getting ready to kick off its third round.
All the classes are in the semifinals and games are spread across the week as teams try and set the schedules ahead of the state finals. The season will conclude with the state finals May 18-22 in Oxford and Jacksonville. The state baseball tournament is double-elimination, or a best-of-three series with two games on the first day and the if-necessary third game the second day.
