This weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix holds a special place in the heart of all of Formula 1, from the drivers to the fans. Drivers love taking on the challenging Suzuka Circuit, and the passion the fans show throughout the week inspires everyone in the sport.
However, this year’s Japanese Grand Prix carries something of a somber undertone, as it marks ten years since Jules Bianchi’s tragic accident during the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix.

Sergio Garcia is one of 13 LIV Golf players who have qualified for the Masters next week.
Leading up to LIV’s Miami tournament Wednesday, the 13 men gathered for a photo. Garcia posted that moment on X, formerly known as Twitter, warning the golf world with six words.
“We’re coming for that green jacket,” he wrote.

A new postseason college basketball tournament will hit the floor next year.
Fox Sports and AEG announced Wednesday that the College Basketball Crown will tip-off on March 31, 2025, and run through April 6, 2025, in Las Vegas at the end of next season. The games will take place at the MGM Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena.
Teams that didn’t make the field of 68 for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will be eligible to qualify. The Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East Conferences will each have automatic entries into the 16-team tournament with additional teams being selected by a committee.

Two Irish basketball teams are going to have to head back to the court to replay the final 0.3 seconds of a game that ended in controversial fashion.
As I’m sure you’re already aware, the Limerick Sport Eagles met the Portlaoise Panthers in the quarterfinals of the Irish National League playoffs on March 23.
The Eagles (or is it “Sport Eagles?”) took an 80-78 after a Limerick player was fouled just as the buzzer sounded and hit two free throws to win the game.

Coming out of Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa, Caitlin Clark wanted to play for Geno Auriemma at UConn, and understandably so. The Huskies had 11 national titles under their belt in the span of just 21 years and have been the premier program in women’s hoops for Clark’s entire life. 
According to Clark, Auriemma tried to lure her to Connecticut, but maybe not hard enough.
