Here are our biggest takeaways from the 2024-2025 NBA schedule release.
The dog days of the NBA offseason are officially here, but there’s a light shining at the end of the proverbial tunnel. The 2024-2025 NBA schedule was released on Thursday afternoon for all 30 teams. The NBA will be back before you know it, and the WNBA has basketball fans covered until then.
Most of the NBA will host media day on Sept. 30 and begin training camp on Oct. 1 (the Nuggets and Celtics begin both a week earlier).
Wilmer Flores seemed destined to be a Met despite their best efforts.
Wilmer Flores wasn’t supposed to be here. Flores came up as a New York Met, grinding his way through their farm system since he was a scrawny teenager. Now THIS is how you be an amazing sports parent.
We’re still a little ways off from the start of college football and the NFL, but the best football video of the year has already dropped. It’s not a spectacular catch or a mammoth hit, but a mom heading straight from work to football practice to teach her son some blocking fundamentals.
This is just some A+++ parenting. Mom doesn’t go easy on her son and coddle him, but she’s patient, warm, explains why you block, and then praises him when he gets the technique down.
