New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara, who has been one of the biggest stars of the 2024 fantasy football season (and, I guess, in actual football), looks unlikely to play in Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers.
Kamara limped off the field during the team’s Week 15 win, went to the locker room with trainers, and did not return. After the game, though, interim head coach Darren Rizzi didn’t seem overly concerned about Kamara’s injury.

The December 2024 transfer portal window has been frustrating, to say the least, for college football coaches, players and fans. Five-star players who were hyped by teams and coaches just a year ago routinely enter the portal every year, with some playing for three different programs in three different years.

This father-son duo grinned from ear-to-ear while telling this story ahead of the PNC Championship.
Jacob Immelman is now 18 years old and just finished the first semester of his freshman year at Clemson, where he plays golf collegiately for the Tigers.
He’s a terrific player, one who had a tremendous junior career before heading to play in college. Not many young golfers can say they have won 18 amateur events in a given year.

Sammy Sosa has somewhat been at odds with the Chicago Cubs over the years with the team preferring to keep the former Big League slugger at arm’s length.
There was of course his long-rumored steroid use that even fellow Cubs great Ryne Sandberg alluded to as a potential roadblock for the club embracing its all-time home run leader.
Even recently, Sosa has completely tried to steer clear of any talk of steroids.
However, that seems to be changing after Sosa released an open letter apologizing for mistakes he made during his playing days.
