There has been a lot of controversy around Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh over the last few years, but none are as shocking as this one from Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, and it has to do with the coach’s cold tub habits.
According to Bosa, Harbaugh hops in fully clothed; tucked-in shirt and all.
I’m fascinated by the cold tub. I like that somewhat recently someone decided that the key to a healthy lifestyle was dunking yourself in cold water.

The NHL preseason gets started this weekend, and a perennial Stanley Cup contender has found itself in a strange position after one of its goalies simply didn’t show up to a mandatory medical exam.
Vegas Golden Knights netminder Robin Lehner hasn’t appeared in an NHL game in over two years. He suffered an injury that led to hip surgery in 2022 causing him to miss both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 NHL seasons.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers definitely heard ESPN analyst Mel Kiper’s comments about the rise of two high safeties in the NFL. Because he subtly roasted him for it during his post game press conference after Thursday night’s 24-3 win over the New England Patriots.
Kiper complained this week that the NFL’s increasingly significant problems on offense, particularly with the passing game, are as a result of  an increase in Cover 2-heavy defensive schemes. Particularly those where safeties play further off the line to prevent deep passes.

An article by Nancy Armour in USA Today attempted to shame Caitlin Clark and Patrick Mahomes for their political ambiguity.
She references how both Clark and Mahomes declined to endorse a specific presidential candidate this month but instead encouraged their followers to register and vote.
Armour says their “bland answers evoke Michael Jordan era of athlete activism.”
Jordan, of course, famously said, “Republicans buy sneakers, too” – an acknowledgment that politicizing any form of entertainment inherently leads to disgruntlement from one side of the fan base.

NORMAN, Okla. — Whether it was the Oklahoma fans measuring out their tailgate setup or the Tennessee fans that had already made their way into Norman, the Sooners campus was buzzing on Friday afternoon before a massive showdown on Saturday night.
We are 24 hours away from one of the biggest games in recent memory for Oklahoma (Outside The Annual Texas Matchup) and fans were already getting into the welcoming spirit, as fans clad in Orange made their way around the football stadium on Friday. But we’ll get to that in just a bit.
