The US Open is over, with top seed Jannik Sinner securing his first title in New York over local favorite Taylor Fritz.
There won’t be an American winner in singles competition at the 2024 US Open. Home favorite Taylor Fritz made it all the way to the final, but he ran up against top seed Jannik Sinner and ultimately fell to the Italian on Sunday. Sinner won the match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5.
Sinner’s victory over Fritz, the 12th seed, took three sets and means Andy Roddick remains the last American man to win the tournament.

Things were going just fine for the Tennessee Titans and quarterback Will Levis in the first half of their season opener against Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears, but then things turned bad, real bad.
Early in the third quarter leading the game 17-3, the Titans had a punt blocked that was returned for a touchdown by Jonathan Owens allowing the Bears back in the game. While a blocked punt scoop and score is bad on its own, Levis one-upped his special teams with an embarrassing moment of his own in the fourth quarter.

Down 21-3 in the third quarter, Giants QB Daniel Jones attempted a simple screen pass to Wan’Dale Robinson.
The routine play could have given the Giants some breathing room, playing just 15 yards off their end zone. 
The play went the other way as Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkle picked Jones off, mere yards away from the Giants QB, and went the other way for six.

Ahead of the Cleveland Browns’ season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, Garrett and Delpin made their way through the parking lot to mingle with fans at te pre-game tailgate. First, a video surfaced of Delpin taking selfies with Browns faithful in the Municipal Lot at Huntington Bank Field.
Delpit is back after missing the final four games of the 2023 season with a groin injury. Before being placed on injured reserve, the safety from LSU started the first 13 games and led the Browns with 77 tackles, while adding 1.
