Augusta National Golf Club has pledged its support of rolling back the golf ball, which means that three of golf’s four major governing bodies subscribe to the idea that there is a distance problem in the sport.
In December 2023, the USGA and R&A officially announced a rollback was on the horizon. Beginning in 2028, golf balls used at the professional level will travel a shorter distance while the same golf balls will be implemented and enforced at the amateur level in 2030.

While Calipari was definitely keeping his job, it was clear all sides were growing frustrated and Calipari got himself a lifeboat while he could still control his own fate.
Generally speaking, coaches get raises when leaving for another P5 job. That’s not the case with Coach Cal.

Give him Defensive Player of the Year for this alone
San Antonio Spurs rookie big man Victor Wembanyama is capable of doing many things on the basketball court. From shamgod dribbles on opposing defenders to blocking shots into orbit, Wemby has done many things on the basketball court that boggle the mind.
I can confidently say, however, that I’ve never seen anyone defend a 3-on-1 fastbreak with simply vibes and The Force. Yet, Wembanyama did it in San Antonio’s 102-87 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.

There’s much celebration around the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday because the club just locked up one of its star players, defensive end Josh Allen, to a mammoth contract that makes him one of the highest paid edge rushers in the NFL.
The completion of that deal, to be signed this week, is an accomplishment because it’s been in the works for months.
