Miami Heat forward Kevin Love penned a thoughtful tribute after the death of his father Stan.
After Love, 36, missed the Heat’s playoff loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday for “personal reasons,” he shared a lengthy post on social media in honor of his dad on Sunday, April 27.
Love began, “Dad, you fought for a long time. The hardest stretch being these past 6 months. The most painful to witness being these last few weeks.
As the Phoenix Suns sit at home and watch the NBA playoffs, they are expected to be joined shortly by the Milwaukee Bucks, who are down 3-1 to the Indiana Pacers and will be without Damian Lillard, who tore his Achilles in Game 4.
Phoenix has long made it clear that they plan to trade Kevin Durant this offseason, but if the Bucks fizzle out, Durant might not be the hottest name on the trade market.
If Giannis Antetokounmpo demands a trade, Durant’s value could plummet as a consolation prize.
The Oregon Ducks enjoyed plenty of success in the 2024-25 season.
They earned the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff after finishing the regular season with an undefeated record. They also defeated Penn State in the Big Ten Championship, another College Football Playoff team.
Unfortunately for the Ducks, they fell to the Ohio State Buckeyes in a rematch. Ohio State went on to win the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

The position of starting quarterback is a massive title at the University of Oregon.
Mike Sullivan, the head coach of both the Pittsburgh Penguins and Team USA during this year’s Four Nations Faceoff, has been fired by his NHL club after a decade in the Steel City.
On Monday, Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas announced that the team would part ways with Sullivan after six trips to the Stanley Cup finals, and two consecutive titles in 2016 and 2017.
“This was not a decision that was taken lightly, but as we continue to navigate the Penguins through this transitional period, we felt it was the best course forward for all involved,” Dubas said.

It feels like no program personifies the changing nature of college basketball roster construction than the Fighting Illini, who are going all-in on European talent for next season, with most of the key pieces already having professional experience.
Who are we to judge a player like Quinn Ewers for his decision to pass up millions in NIL money for an opportunity to live out a dream of playing in the NFL?
