Miami Heat forward Kevin Love penned a thoughtful tribute after the death of his father Stan.
After Love, 36, missed the Heat’s playoff loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday for “personal reasons,” he shared a lengthy post on social media in honor of his dad on Sunday, April 27.

As the Phoenix Suns sit at home and watch the NBA playoffs, they are expected to be joined shortly by the Milwaukee Bucks, who are down 3-1 to the Indiana Pacers and will be without Damian Lillard, who tore his Achilles in Game 4.

They earned the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff after finishing the regular season with an undefeated record. They also defeated Penn State in the Big Ten Championship, another College Football Playoff team.

Mike Sullivan, the head coach of both the Pittsburgh Penguins and Team USA during this year’s Four Nations Faceoff, has been fired by his NHL club after a decade in the Steel City.
On Monday, Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas announced that the team would part ways with Sullivan after six trips to the Stanley Cup finals, and two consecutive titles in 2016 and 2017. 
“This was not a decision that was taken lightly, but as we continue to navigate the Penguins through this transitional period, we felt it was the best course forward for all involved,” Dubas said.
