The Indianapolis Colts announced a pair of roster moves on Monday, following rookie minicamp.
The team signed undrafted free agent center Mose Vavao, and to make room on the roster for him, the Colts waived defensive tackle Joe Evans.
Vavao was brought in during rookie minicamp as a tryout candidate, while Evans was initially signed as an undrafted rookie out of UT-San Antonio.
Evans played in only five games last season, but in 2023, he was one of PFF’s highest-graded interior run defenders.
Vavao measured in at 6-02 during the pre-draft process and weighed 305 pounds.

Since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2021, Johnson has appeared in 65 games and recorded 38 tackles (24 solo), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Liverpool’s Title Glory and the Trent Conundrum: A Divided Anfield Reacts
In a season that will be etched into Liverpool folklore, Arne Slot has delivered the Premier League title in his very first campaign—a feat few expected and even fewer would have dared predict. Yet, amid the euphoria, there is a subplot that has stirred emotion, debate, and division within the fanbase: the public reaction to Trent Alexander-Arnold following the announcement of his impending departure from the club.
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts wasn’t happy with the Colorado Rockies firing skipper Bud Black on Sunday.
In Roberts’ view, the Rockies’ failures fall more on ownership than on his former mentor.
“I’m bummed. I’m disappointed. I don’t think Casey Stengel could change the outcome of that ballclub,” Roberts told reporters on Sunday, via the Los Angeles Times.
“That’s not the manager’s fault,” he added.

Despite President Donald Trump signing an executive order to keep males out of girls’ and women’s sports, several states continue to flout the order. That includes Pennsylvania, where a transgender runner (biological male) took first place in the Liberty Girls’ 200-meter race over the weekend at the SOL American Conference Championships in Horsham, PA.
Luce Allen, formerly Sean, captured the title after barely defeating the second-place runner, a female, by fewer than two-hundredths of a second.
