Cleveland Cavaliers guard Max Strus decided to send a motivational text message to his teammates ahead of their must-win Game 5 against the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Playoffs on Tuesday night. While there is certainly nothing wrong with trying to fire up your teammates with a quick text message, it opens you up for scrutiny if the word gets out and your teammates don’t show up.

With the regular season about to tip off, WNBA teams are finalizing their rosters and facing tough decisions. While each team entered training camp with more than 12 players, league rules only allow a maximum of 12 on the roster once the season begins.
And for several rookies around the league, many were either drafted or signed just last month, and have already been waived.

There was still no No.
Dwight Howard filled in for Shaquille O’Neal on TNT’s Inside the NBA on Tuesday night, and his guest appearance didn’t disappoint. True to form, Howard delivered several memorable moments during the broadcast.
As the panel broke down the second round of the NBA playoffs, Howard shared a bold prediction about a familiar powerhouse — the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors, who have won four NBA titles since 2015, are on the brink of elimination as they head into a crucial Game 5 on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Meadville was dominant for most of Tuesday’s region match against Saegertown and won 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-18) to clinch the region title at the House of Thrills.
The Bulldogs dominated the first two sets by snagging early leads and never letting go. Meadville’s offense was efficient with Max Decker and Tate Walker rotating at setter.
Defensively, the ‘Dogs were stout at the net and didn’t let Saegertown get comfortable.
“We really struggled passing the ball and that took the wind out of our sails.
