Fans can follow along with Packers Wire’s draft tracker as the Green Bay Packers navigate through the draft, starting with Thursday night’s first round, continuing on Friday with Rounds 2-3 and finishing with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday.
The Packers are entering the 2025 draft with eight picks and well-defined roster needs.
The 2025 NFL draft is upon us, and each pick – even the expected selections to start things off – is sure to spark strong reactions.
A strong consensus has emerged surrounding the first several selections heading into the first round, which is set to begin Thursday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin. But last year reinforced that one unforeseen move can turn the event on its head.
It’s finally here. The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off tonight at 5pm Pacific (8pm ET). You can follow along on social media or watch the action unfold on NFL Network and ESPN.
As is always the case, the draft doesn’t start promptly at 5pm. There is always a bunch of ceremonial things that delays things. You can expect the number one overall pick to happen at about 20 minutes after the hour.
Once each team makes their pick, the next team will be on the clock with a maximum of ten minutes. But teams don’t always take all the time allotted to them.
The Raiders pick at sixth overall.

“We’re going to Kentucky for regionals, and when that regionals got picked I texted into our team group chat and I was like, ‘We have to go to KFC. We have to go to KFC,’” Koo said. “So that’s basically it. Course looks good. Fits our team.

We don’t know who will go where for most of the 2025 NFL Draft, but we do know roughly what kind of contracts the players will sign. We break down the likely rookie deals for first-round picks.
The 2025 NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday, April 24, with the Tennessee Titans going on the clock shortly after 8 p.m. ET. They clinched the No. 1 pick and are expected to select Cam Ward to open the draft. From there we’ll be off and running for a little over three hours on Thursday evening.
The Professional Women’s Hockey League is in just its second season, and it’s prepared to move beyond its own Original Six and has announced the league’s first expansion city.
That lucky town? Vancouver, British Columbia.
From its inception, the league has fielded six teams with clubs in Minnesota, Boston, New York, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. The league announced this week that the seventh PWHL franchise is headed to Western Canada.
