If you view Travis Hunter as a cornerback, he’ll be the first off the board. After that, it’ll be between Will Johnson and Jahdae Barron on who gets drafted next. Barron can’t control who gets drafted when, but he confidently declared himself the best in the class at Texas’ pro day. “I most definitely believe that I am CB1,” stated Barron. What sets Barron apart from his peers is his versatility.
“I can do a lot. I can go play corner, I can play nickel, and I can play safety.

The WNBA is coming off its most successful campaign in the league’s 28-season history, setting highs in viewership, attendance and merchandise sales. Undoubtedly, Fever guard Caitlin Clark was the primary reason for the spurt in popularity. Few modern-day athletes are more responsible for their respective sport’s sudden growth than Clark. Only Tiger Woods (golf) and Ronda Rousey (women’s MMA) come to mind.
Yet, instead of appreciating Clark for leading the WNBA out of the abyss and into the mainstream conversation, mean girls and race clowns met her with resistance.

kicker reports there are doubts about the future of Wolfsburg head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl, and it is looking increasingly likely that he will not be in charge next season.
At the weekend, Wolfsburg lost to relegation-fighting Heidenheim 1-0 to leave them ninth in the table. Problems have seemingly been brewing in the Autostadt for a while, as the club is on a run of two wins in their last nine Bundesliga games.
The first wave of NFL free agency has concluded, and there were some blockbuster signings and trades, including the Commanders acquiring wide receiver Deebo Samuel from the 49ers and the Giants signing quarterback Russell Wilson.
All three teams in the Ravens division made under-the-radar deals, with Cincinnati and Pittsburgh resetting the wide receiver market. The second wave of free agency is underway, and with the NFL draft approaching, we’re tracking every offseason transaction made by the Baltimore Ravens‘ AFC North rivals.
Forest season ‘one of the best coaching performances ever’
Former Nottingham Forest forward Robert Earnshaw has called the club’s campaign ‘one of the best coaching performances we have ever seen in the Premier League’.
Forest are third in the Premier League table, having been among the pre-season favourites for relegation. Last season, the Tricky Trees finished 17th in the top flight. Forest have a six-point advantage over fifth-placed Manchester City as the club look to secure a shock Champions League qualification.
The Washington Commanders hit the lottery, choosing quarterback Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 overall pick in last year’s 2024 NFL draft. The Commanders have made it clear that if they had held the No. 1 pick, it would have always been Daniels.
Daniels wasn’t just the NFL’s best rookie last season; he was also one of the NFL’s better quarterbacks — as a rookie. Daniels broke several rookie and NFL records and was in the MVP conversation for much of the season.
