Well, ladies and gentlemen, we are just one week away from the start of the NFL Draft. That means it’s time for the next edition of the OutKick NFL Mock Draft! Obviously, much has changed since we put out our first mock draft in late January. Let’s dive in…
Nothing has changed from my first mock draft with the #1 overall pick. When you look around the league, one thing is clear: teams need a good quarterback. The Titans haven’t had one in a while, so they have to take a shot here. Clearly, Ward is the top option this year.
The opening round matchups for the Stanley Cup Playoffs are set, and there are some absolute doozies.
However, one of the most anticipated ones is going to be the “Battle of Ontario” between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Ottawa Senators.
The Senators are returning to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2017 Eastern Conference Final, while the Leafs are still looking to get to the Conference Final for the first time since 2002.

The Sacramento Kings had some fun with their player introductions ahead of Wednesday night’s play-in game against the Dallas Mavericks.
While the Kings’ announcer read off the Mavs’ starting lineup at the Golden 1 Center, the theme song for My Little Pony blasted through the loudspeakers.
Honestly, it’s a pretty apt way to open a game for a couple of teams that squeaked their way into the play-in round after finishing the season with a losing record.

The Vikings are in an interesting position as they hold the 24th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The team, and their roster as a whole, is nearly complete as they pursue another Super Bowl this decade. Most teams wouldn’t dream of being able to win as much as one in ten years, let alone two, the way the league competes anymore.
This brings up the question we are discussing today of, which side of the ball needs their attention at pick 24?
In making the argument for the offensive side, the team still needs to add another guard, running back, wide receiver, or tight end.
Ilia Topuria won’t accept anything less than a UFC lightweight title shot for his next fight.
Topuria (16-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) has reiterated that he was promised an immediate title shot at 155 pounds by the UFC after vacating his featherweight belt. However, lightweight champion Islam Makhachev (27-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC) and his mentor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, insist that Topuria needs to earn his shot by beating a No. 1 contender, with Nurmagomedov also not wanting Makhachev to fight another featherweight.
So what will Topuria do?
“I would like to fight with Islam, that’s for sure.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Thomas Bateman kept busy this year managing college fantasy teams in 12 different leagues, a lineup that included SECret Weapon and One and Dunne. Five of them won it all.
These were not teams stocked with NFL or NBA players. All 12 were made up of college gymnasts, and the Chicago-based marriage and family therapist is just one member of a fervent and growing fan base that channels their love of the sport into fantasy leagues.
“It’s such a great way to get to know the sport a bit,” Bateman said.
