Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t too sure if he’ll stay a member of the Bucks his entire NBA career.
The star forward recently sat down with Tania Ganguli of the New York Times to talk about his NBA career thus far. When talking about his future in Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo left his answers pretty open-ended.
“There will never be hard feelings with the Milwaukee Bucks,” Antetokounmpo said. “I believe that we’ve had 10 unbelievable years, and there’s no doubt I gave everything for the city of Milwaukee. Everything. Every single night, even when I’m hurt. I am a Milwaukee Buck.

With the potential for his second Tommy John surgery in play, will Angels star Shohei Ohtani still be offered a record-setting contract this offseason?
OutKick’s Curt Schilling thinks Ohtani’s recent UCL injury may end up costing him $250 million now that teams won’t expect him to assume the mound for a long time.
Shohei Ohtani intends to be in the Angels’ lineup Friday night at Citi Field against the Mets, according to a source familiar with Ohtani’s plans, an indication that he will continue to play as the team’s designated hitter this season as he considers options to repair his torn ulnar collateral ligament.
Ohtani learned of the tear between games of a doubleheader Thursday and played in the second game. Should he undergo a second Tommy John surgery in five years, Ohtani would probably be ready to return to hitting by May of next season and to pitching in 2025.
The Minnesota Vikings released veteran running back Dalvin Cook over the offseason. Cook eventually signed with the New York Jets. The reason that Minnesota let Cook walk after rushing for nearly 6,000 yards in six seasons with the team: They’re ready to turn the backfield over to Alexander Mattison.
Mattison served as Cook’s primary backup for the first first four seasons of his career. His career-high in carries came in 2021 when he ran 134 times for 491 yards (also a career-high). Mattison averaged nearly 550 yards per season from scrimmage in those four years.
The Washington Commanders social media team put out a video of a question they asked their players that got way more heated than you’d expect: Do acai bowls count as soup?
If you’re unfamiliar, an acai bowl usually consists of smashed acai berries then topped with granola and various fruits.
It’s a variation of the classic “Is a hot dog a sandwich?” question that has kept people awake at night and torn families apart for years. It seems the acai bowl question strikes a similar nerve.
For over 40 years, Chris Berman’s iconic voice has provided a backdrop to many all-time great NFL moments. But, thanks to Pete Carroll, the legendary ESPN personality had the chance to narrate a memorable moment that’ll likely be remembered for much different reasons.
The Seahawks shared a hilarious gem of a TikTok on Wednesday featuring Berman adding his name to the growing list of celebs with an opinion on the viral video of Carroll showing off his quarterback skills at a recent practice.
For as long as the United States has existed, conspiracy theories and their consequences have been making news—much of it bad.
The NFL, however, chose to have some fun with one such conspiracy theory/meme two weeks before the start of the 2023 season.
The league released a minute-long video Thursday morning riffing on the concept of the league being “scripted” a la professional wrestling — complete with writers, a table read, player cameos, and Keegan-Michael Key hosting.
“Alright, everyone. Last season was a smash.

Morikawa played phenomenal golf Thursday at the Tour Championship, but the fans did not give him proper recognition.
ATLANTA — Apparently, the Georgia crowd was not impressed with Collin Morikawa’s game Thursday despite him shooting a career-low 61.
“I don’t know,” Morikawa said when asked why the crowd was not lively. “I thought we were hitting good shots, and 10 feet is not good enough, I guess.

FIFA’s possible punishments from the investigation could result in suspension or fines.
Since the incident happened Sunday after Spain’s 1–0 World Cup win over England, fans have been calling for Rubiales, who has been in the position since 2018, to step down.
Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin’s status for the team’s Week 1 game vs. the Cardinals is still uncertain, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Thursday.
McLaurin injured his right toe during Monday night’s preseason game vs. the Ravens. Thankfully for Washington, his X-rays came back negative, and the MRI showed no major damage. He was officially diagnosed with a right toe sprain.
After the game, coach Ron Rivera said McLaurin is considered day-to-day, although the Commanders are hopeful he will be ready come Sunday, Sept. 10.
