Nebraska tight end Arik Gilbert was arrested Friday in Lumpkin County, Ga., the second time he’s been arrested in the past three weeks. Gilbert was taken into custody on charges of smash-and-grab burglary and obstruction of officers, according to arrest records.
On Aug. 29, Gilbert was arrested in Lancaster County, Nebraska on speculation of burglary after he was found with $1,600 worth of merchandise from a liquor and vape shop in Lincoln, Neb.

The Colorado State coach made waves when he decided to take an unsolicited shot at the way Deion Sanders dresses while interacting with the media.

Colorado State coach Jay Norvell found himself at the center of the college football world this week after taking a shot at Deion Sanders ahead of the Rams’ highly anticipated rivalry matchup with Colorado.
In case you missed it, Norvell said, “When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat off and my glasses off,” in a thinly veiled jab at Sanders. Sanders replied to the jab by saying the criticism would motivate his team.
