European Captain Luke Donald discussed the Solheim Cup, and how Team Europe’s comeback in Spain could serve as inspiration this week.
The Solheim Cup delivered great drama and produced tremendous competition, as Team Europe retained the Cup at Finca Cortesín in Spain.
After trailing 4-to-0 following Friday morning’s session, the Europeans outscored the Americans 14-to-10 the rest of the way to hold onto the Cup.

There was a point in the fourth quarter, after all the noise from the season’s first two weeks, where it looked like the Chargers season had reached a crossroads: Either this was going to be where a talented roster drove into a ditch, or where the dig out from 0–2 would start.
Is Brandon Staley’s job safe? Is Justin Herbert overrated? Is the roster ever gonna be maximized?
Those were the big picture questions asked on the outside over the last two weeks, after the Chargers let fourth-quarter leads slip against the Dolphins and Titans.
If you were watching the Oregon-Colorado game on Saturday you certainly noticed Dan Lanning hyping up his Ducks, using the coverage around Deion Sanders as motivation. The problem is, some folks are taking this personal. In reality, it’s just business this season in the Pac-12.
We are currently watching the Pac-12 conference make waves across the college football landscape, with Washington, Oregon and USC leading the way. But off to the side, Deion Sanders is making noise for other reasons, trying to rebuild a program that was in the dumpster last season.
After his record-setting 10th consecutive victory, two-time defending F1 world drivers champion Max Verstappen holds a 145-point lead over Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez with eight of 23 rounds remaining.
The NASCAR Cup Series shifts to Texas Motor Speedway to open the second round of the playoffs this weekend.
The family of Dolphins fans who took tequila shots after every touchdown of 70-point game somehow lived to tell the tale
The Miami Dolphins’ offense annihilated the Denver Broncos on Sunday in a record-setting Week 3 performance that minted Mike McDaniel’s team as the most explosive in the league. Miami beat the Broncos, 70-20, while breaking the NFL record for most yards in a game, and finishing only three points of setting the league’s new single-game scoring mark.
All of those Miami points hit a little different for one family of Dolphins fans.
Davante Adams had plenty to say after the Raiders’ Week 2 loss to the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
But the team’s top receiver couldn’t seem to find answers as to why his team couldn’t stop putting itself in “tough-to- overcome positions.” Adams also spoke candidly about the Raiders’ lack of consistency.
“I don’t got time to wait around. … It’s not a personal thing. I mean it is a personal thing, but it ain’t just about me,” Adams told reporters.

McMcDaniel is a wizard.
Mike McDaniel is the talk of the NFL, and rightfully so. For the first time in recent memory a self-professed “football nerd” took his analytics and scheme to a head coaching role and he’s made it all work.
There was plenty of promise for the McDaniel system in 2022, but this season has surpassed anyone’s wildest dreams. The Dolphins are running a HISTORIC offense that nobody in the league has an answer for.
Matt Ryan seems to be enjoying his time in the broadcast booth, after all.
A day after a report emerged that the veteran quarterback was interested in joining the QB-needy Jets, Ryan is clarifying his stance. New York lost Aaron Rodgers to a season-ending Achilles injury, and Zach Wilson is playing at a historically bad rate as his replacement.
Ryan isn’t officially retired from the NFL, but he is not on an active roster this season while he’s working as an analyst for CBS.
