The Braves are the best team in Major League Baseball, and while they lost at home to the Cardinals on Tuesday night, a catch by a fan in the stands in Atlanta might have been the best play of the night in all of baseball. 
One of the fun parts about going to a baseball game is the opportunity to catch a foul ball. It’s a memory you’ll have forever. It’s safe to say that this fan will never forget the play she made on this ball, because it was pretty darn sweet. Her reaction might have been even better.

For so long, it was a perfect NBA marriage. But now, after a season of “sacrifice,” the ongoing drama between Harden and team president Daryl Morey has the 76ers on the brink.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Lionel Messi is going to be the savior of soccer here in the United States.
But he also may be the savior of the Apple TV+ streaming service.
One of the world’s best – if not THE best soccer player is quickly on his way to becoming a national sports sensation here in America, as both casual and diehard ‘football’ fans can’t get enough of seeing him absolutely decimate the pitch.

Anything can happen in football’s weirdest division.
The NFC South is dumb. Since its creation in 2002 the division is both the paragon of parity, and an unpredictable mess. Now for the first time in the NFC South’s history we have all four teams rebuilding at once, turning a page and trying to find a way forward. It’s going to make the NFC South not only the league’s most wide-open division, but the first step in what could determine the future of the conference’s power for years to come.

The Ravens QB can be better than he’s ever been before this season.
At first blush, the premise seems flawed.
Lamar Jackson is one of just two players in NFL history to be an unanimous selection for MVP, having accomplished that feat during the 2019 season. He has been selected for multiple Pro Bowls, been named a First-Team All-Pro selection, and is already the holder of multiple records for quarterback play.
Still, the questions linger.
Critics will point to his record in playoff games, as the Ravens are just 1-3 in his four playoff starts.

The Lakers and free-agent big man Christian Wood had been linked for weeks, but things took their sweet time to come together. A high percentage of fans of the team were openly pushing through social media for the signing to happen, and it appears, even Wood himself had his sights on Los Angeles.

Colorado notched one of the statement wins in Week 1 of the college football season, and the team’s two biggest stars are already two of the sport’s biggest names after beating TCU 45–42.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, son of coach Deion Sanders, threw for 510 yards and four touchdowns, setting a school record for single-game passing yards in his Buffaloes debut.

The preseason offered a glimpse of each team’s strengths and weaknesses before the 2023 regular season.
But for this story, let’s focus on just the NFC teams, such as the Giants, who went from having possibly the worst receiving corps in the league last season to boasting a promising unit with the arrivals of Parris Campbell and rookie Jalin Hyatt.
And what about the 49ers? Is the defensive line still their biggest strength if Nick Bosa misses Week 1 with a contract holdup? Let’s find out.

The 2023 NFL offseason was chock full of impactful trades and free-agent signings, and it can be difficult to remember which faces are in new places this season.
With that in mind, it undoubtedly will be weird for many fans to see Aaron Rodgers in a Jets uniform after 18 seasons with the Packers. Likewise, at least 12 other teams will start a different quarterback in Week 1 than they did in last season’s opener—including the entire NFC South.

If you’re an avid fantasy football player there’s a chance you participated in your draft recently. The last two weekends before the NFL season begins is when a majority of teams hold their drafts, and players mull over their decisions across multiple leagued, vying to find the piece that will give them a championship.
