The first commitment as a result of Washington’s DawgHouse Weekend has come. On Tuesday, three-star Servite High School linebacker Isaiah Leilua announced his pledge to the Huskies and coach Jedd Fisch, becoming the eighth commit in the 2027 recruiting class and the sixth defensive addition.
Leilua, a 6-foot, 220-pound prospect has been a productive defender for the Trinity League powerhouse over the past three years, registering 185 total tackles (135 solo), 17 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 5 pass breakups, and a pair of forced fumbles over 29 games.

New cornerbacks coach LaMar Morgan is under contract through the 2027 season, and he’ll make $400,000 this season. New running backs coach Deland McCullough is under contract through the 2028 season. He will make $625,000 this year.
Morgan replaces Jay Valai, who took a job with the Buffalo Bills this offseason. He was most recently the defensive backs coach at Michigan, and he also has experience as a defensive coordinator.

It seems like we’re all in baseball mode a bit earlier this year, thanks to the World Baseball Classic. But Opening Day is just a few weeks away, which means it’s time to start looking at what kind of grub can be found at stadiums around the league.
But it’s not just the food itself that is worth checking out. Sometimes, the vessel in which it is carried is part of the experience.

NASHVILLE – In what might have been the biggest turnout for an opening round game of the SEC Tournament, at least in Nashville, it was Kentucky that proved once again to be the most financially pleasing team, even with their recent record, in the college basketball conference postseason.
I would imagine the local bars along Broadway were ecstatic to see the Cats’ takeover in the final minutes of the second half against LSU on Wednesday afternoon.
