Paul Finebaum returned to ESPN’s airwaves on Tuesday morning and got a very warm, perhaps not so subtle, welcome back from Stephen A. Smith on First Take.
“First of all, it’s good to see you, I missed you last week buddy,” Smith said to Finebaum, after the long-time SEC pundit missed his appearance last week.
Finebaum’s appearance was his second of the day on ESPN. He was on Get Up on Tuesday morning before returning less than an hour later for his chat with Smith and First Take co-host Shae Cornette.

Last season, during his return to MetLife Stadium as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, Saquon Barkley carved up his former New York Giants teammates to the tune of 176 yards rushing and a trip to the end zone as the enemy. It was a delicious feast for anyone who self-identifies as a Birds fan.
On Monday, as if seeing Landon Dickerson hobbled wasn’t concerning enough, there were questions about whether or not he’d miss the coming affair as he was reportedly dealing with a knee issue. Thankfully, those concerns may have been a bit premature.
It was an exciting week in Big Ten football. Many lasting impressions were created this week. There are multiple coaches in the Big Ten whose seats are getting hotter and hotter, even those who have been with their program for more than a decade. Elite quarterback play and NFL talent continue to be on full display in the Big Ten.

Justice Haynes is the best back in college football
Justice Haynes had an impressive outing last week against a top run defense, the Wisconsin Badgers.
Jason Anderson will race for Pipes Motorsports Group in the 2026 SuperMotocross League Championship as a teammate to Ken Roczen in a return to racing on a Suzuki.
Anderson made his professional debut on a Suzuki from 2011 to 2013, racing an RMZ 250.
With Ken Roczen’s precision and Jason’s creativity, we’ve got a 1-2 punch that’s as dangerous as it is stylish. Fans are going to love the energy these two bring when the gate drops.
