Orioles play-by-play television announcer Kevin Brown will return to the booth on Friday night when Baltimore takes on Seattle. According to multiple reports, Brown was inexplicably suspended by the club from his role at the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) for his recitation of facts surrounding the club’s recent struggles playing on the road at Tampa Bay.
Brown released a statement ahead of his return to the booth, while explaining his recent absence as the O’s lead announcer.
“O’s fans – I’m a storyteller,” Brown’s statement began.

Over the next two years, the NBA and WWE will negotiate new rights deals with broadcast partners. Both brands seek substantial increases, which they expect to receive.
Currently, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) pay the NBA $2.6 billion per year. According to CNBC, the NBA hopes to triple said fee to around $7 billion.
The NBA is willing, unlike nine years ago, to add a third or even fourth broadcast partner. The deals with Disney and WBD expire following the 2025 NBA Finals.
Meanwhile, USA Network and Fox pay WWE a combined $470 million to, respectively, air Raw and SmackDown.

Baltimore Orioles television play-by-play announcer Kevin Brown will be reading a statement that may finally address a nearly two-week absence that has drawn the ire of hometown fans and fellow broadcasters when he returns to the booth tonight, OutKick has learned.
There’s no indication as to what Brown will say, but the baseball community has been looking for answers ever since the Orioles TV voice was reportedly suspended for what were universally viewed as innocuous on-air comments about the team’s past performance.

The fall of the Pac-12 happened quickly last week when six teams committed to move to other conferences, but the writing has been on the wall for the while. As the Pac-12 tried to get a new media deal with Apple, it became clear that the conference had limited options for exposure.
At one point during its media rights negotiations, though, the Pac-12 had a chance to agree to a new TV deal with ESPN. However, the conference fumbled negotiations, leading to ESPN walking away from the deal.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is the latest signal caller to share that he gave the streamer a “Thanks, but no thanks” when asked to appear in the hit series.
Jimmy G said in a recent interview that he hadn’t sat down to watch the first season of the series, but his brothers did and they liked it.
“They love it,” Garoppolo said, per Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
