The second men’s major of the year has a loaded field. The 2025 PGA Championship will have 156 players in all, and its field is always considered to be the strongest in the game.
As the PGA of America notes, this year’s event at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, will have 29 major winners, 14 past PGA Championship winners, three members of the World Golf Hall of Fame and three Ryder Cup captains.

We already reported that Gavin Mueller had Notre Dame among the final four schools on his list.
On May 14, the tight end out of South Elgin, Ill. will choose which one of those four schools he will commit to.
Other than the Fighting Irish, Mueller has Colorado, Wisconsin and LSU in his final four.
Mueller, a four-star recruit with Rivals.com, has had over 25 offers and is among the top 20 tight ends in the country, according to his X.com bio. He is in the Class of 2026 and he will make his announcement at 3:20 pm Central Daylight Time on May 14 at the South Elgin High School library.
