Shane Ray, who was drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the 2015 draft and hasn’t played in the NFL since 2019, signed with the Bills after a tryout.
Colorado Rockies pitcher Ryan Feltner spent the night in the hospital after a comebacker struck him in the head Saturday at Coors Field.
Philadelphia Phillies’ Nick Castellanos lined a 1-0 slider back to the mound at 92.7 mph. As the ball hit Feltner, he immediately collapsed to the ground.
While the right-hander didn’t appear to lose consciousness, he laid on the mound squinting his eyes as Rockies training stuff sprinted out to help.
Feltner eventually walked off with the assistance of two staff members.
The Suns and head coach Monty Williams reportedly parted ways Saturday night, two days after Phoenix got blown out by the Nuggets in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals to end its season. That is despite Williams leading Phoenix to a 194-115 record over four years, which marks the third-best winning percentage (.628) in franchise history.

When it is all said and done, Bijan Robinson could end up as the best pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. There are always questions about drafting a running back in the first round, especially No. 8, but the former Texas ball-carrier is different.
In fact, it may not be fair to call him a running back. Robinson is a jack-of-all-trades. He does it all, and head coach Arthur Smith plans to use him as Swiss Army knife.
At 6-foot-0, 215 pound, Robinson is a bowling ball. His quads are massive and the former Texas Longhorn never stops moving his legs.
On Friday, Brittney Griner played in her first WNBA game for the Mercury since returning to the United States after being held in a Russian prison for most of last year. Although the veteran forward enjoyed a solid performance, the highlight for her may have come before tipoff.
Griner explained that she felt many emotions while hearing the national anthem before the preseason game in a way that she didn’t feel prior to her experience in Russia.
“Hearing the national anthem, it definitely hit different,” Griner said, via CNN.
Never count out Bob Stoops! Although the Renegades entered the XFL playoffs with a losing record, they completed one of the most improbable playoff runs in football with a league title Saturday night.
Led by quarterback Luis Perez, Arlington finished the regular season at 4-6 and snuck into the South division championship. It then beat the Houston Roughnecks by 15 to advance to the XFL Championship and beat the D.C. Defenders by nine to take the title.
Ja Morant did not learn from his suspension earlier this season. The 23-year-old Memphis Grizzlies star did exactly what got him in trouble the first time again Saturday.
Well, not exactly the same, but very similar. Morant appeared to brandish a handgun, again.
Morant and a few of his friends visited Omar the Jeweler in Atlanta during the afternoon.
