The swimmers ran as a school — jumping in and out of the action, as the Holy Cross team needed them.

The Seattle Mariners made a splash on Monday night, acquiring second baseman Jorge Polanco from the Minnesota Twins.
While the clubs have yet to confirm the deal, MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand reports that Polanco is heading to the Mariners in exchange for four players—reliever Justin Topa, righty Anthony DeSclafani and prospects Gabriel Gonzalez and Darren Bowen—as well as cash.
Polanco has been with the Twins his entire career, first called up to the majors in 2014. He has been a steady bat at the top of Minnesota’s lineup since ’16, playing both second base and shortstop.

The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the past five years, but they’ll be without a key member of their defense for the rematch against the San Francisco 49ers.
Standout defensive end Charles Omenihu suffered a torn ACL during the Chiefs’ AFC championship win over the Baltimore Ravens which will cause him to miss Super Bowl LVIII, according to NFL.com. 
Omenihu, who is in his first season in Kansas City, exited the game against the Ravens in the first half after recording a strip sack of Lamar Jackson.

The Lions player upset all of Santa Clara, even several Lions fans, after he waved goodbye to Levi’s Stadium crowds once Detroit took a 21-6 lead in the second quarter.
On top of that, CJGJ had some extra muscle in his tackles on Samuel, inevitably pissing off an already volatile wideout.
“Somebody go check on lil bruh,” Samuel posted on X, turning the Lions CB into his son.
Samuel logged eight receptions for 89 yards on Sunday.

After a win in the AFC title game on Sunday, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years.
In his six years as a starter, Mahomes has yet to miss the AFC championship game, and is already surpassing postseason records set by the likes of Tom Brady and other NFL legends.
The Chiefs’ latest run to the big game has reignited the GOAT debate between Mahomes and Brady. While Brady’s seven rings still stand untouched, Mahomes is on the verge of his third championship at just 28 years old, and is putting up ridiculous numbers.

Prior to Sunday’s AFC championship bout between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, veteran kicker Justin Tucker could be seen having an eye-opening exchange with Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes during warmups.
Tucker was stretching and taking some kicks in the same area which Mahomes was going through his pregame routines. In response, the Chiefs’ quarterback and tight end tandem grabbed Tucker’s helmet and tossed it to the side, while also throwing aside his kicking tee.
