Let’s start with the good news: This week, we are going to finally see Kyler Murray! Khalil Herbert, James Conner and David Montgomery are also all likely back in action. Justin Jefferson is also eligible to return, though he may be a few more weeks away.
Quarterback Justin Fields is trending in the right direction to play this week as well. Matthew Stafford is progressing well — though the Rams have a bye this week.
Now for the bad news: Daniel Jones and Cam Akers are done for the season. Jones suffered a torn ACL on Sunday and Akers tore his Achilles.

There is a scenario in which Ole Miss could find itself in the College Football Playoff if it upsets Georgia in Athens this weekend and closes out the regular season at 11-1. If that were to play out, the Rebels could have a meeting with Michigan for a chance to then play for a national title. That is if the NCAA or Big Ten doesn’t hammer the Wolverines amid their sign-stealing scandal.
While many pieces have to fall in place for Ole Miss to match up against Michigan, the odds of it happening are not zero.

Josh McDaniels pulled the ultimate party foul with his kids after the Las Vegas Raiders fired him.
McDaniels was shown the door at the end of October after going 3-5 through the first eight games of the season. He ended his very brief tenure with the Raiders with a record of 9-16. To say it was a disaster would be fair.
Well, turns out being fired also ended up ruining Halloween for his four kids.
